Farmers Helping Farmers

The Farmers Helping Farmers Association was established in 1992 as a private and independent NGO run by about 40 volunteers and exclusively supported by private donations.

The idea is that, Salzburg Farmers help Bosnian Farmers with food, seeds, and old tractors. Over the years the organisation Farmer helping Farmers, grew into a permanent organisation and now they deliver small wooden houses for homeless war victims.

Twice a year the FhF organises a help-convoy from Salzburg to Bosnia to people in Croatia and Bosnia. Caritas, humanitarian organisations,EUFOR, UNHCR and OHR are aware of the FhF activities. The Austrian Army (Bundesheer) is joining to help the FhF to deliver the aid in the remote mountain places.
